Holt Engineering are working with a busy cable assembly and electronics manufacturing company Based in Portsmouth. They are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their steadily growing team.

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm with an early finish on Fridays! 

Paying £12.71 Per Hour 

Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative: 
  • Picking and issuing components to the production team.
  • Heavy lifting and manual handling of cables
  • Cutting and stripping cables for dispatch and production using cutting machines 
  • Packing and preparing finished cable assemblies for dispatch.
  • Labelling and organising stock within the warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries 
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
  • Supporting production by ensuring materials are available when required.
What We're Looking For in a Warehouse Operative: 
  • Previous warehouse or stores experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
