Warehouse Operative

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse for our client based in Murton. Hours of work will be a days/backs shift rotation, Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm/2.00pm-10.00pm. Overtime may be required on occasion.

The position is temporary-ongoing. Pay rates are £13.19 per hour plus £2.19 shift allowance bringing the overall hourly pay to £15.37.

Main duties will include: 

• Receiving goods 
• Putting stock away
• Decanting of stock
• Replenishment
• General warehouse duties 
• Housekeeping 
• Picking orders
• Packing goods
• Wrapping pallets
• Preparing orders for dispatch 

Essential Experience:

• Previous experience of working within a busy warehouse environment would be extremely beneficial
• Flexibility and a good work ethic 

Desirable Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have a valid Reach Truck or Counter-balance Licence which will be ITSSAR or RTITB accredited and has been refreshed with in the last 3 years, this would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
