Warehouse Operative / Mail Sorter in Livingston, West Lothian

    As a Mail Sorter, you will play an important role in keeping the UK's mail network moving, ensuring letters and parcels are sorted accurately and reach their destinations on time.     Location: Livingston, EH54

    Shifts & Pay Rates:

    • Early Shift (06:00 - 14:00): £15.14 per hour (Tuesday to Saturday)
    • Night Shift (22:00 - 06:00): £16.44 per hour (Monday to Friday)

You'll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

    Key information

    • Pay rate: £16.24 p/h
    • Hours: Various hours and shifts available
    • Days: 5 days from 7
    • Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm

    What you'll be doing:

    • Sorting letters and parcels by hand and machine
    • Moving and handling mailbags and parcels weighing up to 11kg
    • Working efficiently to meet daily targets
    • Checking items carefully to ensure accurate sorting
    • Collaborating as part of a busy and supportive team
    • Staying productive in a fast-paced environment
