Meridian Business Support are recruiting on behalf of our client for an ongoing temporary Warehouse Operative position with the potential for long-term opportunities.

Shifts and pay
  • AM Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00, £12.71 per hour
  • PM Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:30, £13.67 per hour
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
Please note: the site is not accessible by public transport. You must be able to travel reliably by car, lift share or cycle. The location is around one mile outside Aylesbury and some shifts may involve travelling in low light.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working as part of a busy team handling goods across inbound and outbound processes. Day-to-day duties include:
  • Picking and packing orders accurately using pick lists or scanners
  • Loading and unloading deliveries ready for dispatch
  • Handling goods in and goods out, including stock checks
  • Working across both standard distribution areas and automated systems
  • Maintaining accuracy to reduce errors and improve efficiency
  • Meeting daily targets, KPIs and service levels

To be successful in this Warehouse Operative role, you should demonstrate:
  • Good understanding of spoken and written English
  • Strong attention to detail when handling stock
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Physical capability for manual handling and being on your feet for the full shift
  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, fulfilment, stores or production roles such as picker packer, warehouse assistant or stock controller is beneficial but not essential.
