Warehouse Operative South Ockendon, RM15 | 12-hour Day or Night Shifts Available | Set Shift Pattern | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work

Looking for regular work with excellent rates of pay and the flexibility to choose days or nights? We are recruiting Warehouse Operative staff on behalf of a well-known fashion and clothing retailer based in South Ockendon, RM15. With ongoing assignments, a modern working environment, free onsite parking and overtime paid at enhanced rates, this is a great opportunity to join a busy and supportive operation.

Pay & Shift Pattern 3 on, 4 off, 4 on, 3 off rota (including weekends)
  • Days: 8:00am - 8:00pm (0800-2000) - £14.42 per hour
  • Nights: 8:00pm - 8:00am (2000-0800) - £17.30 per hour between 10:00pm and 6:00am
  • Regular set shifts
  • Ongoing work available
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be working within a clean, bright and modern distribution environment, supporting the processing of new clothing stock ready for retail distribution.

Duties may include:
  • Unpacking brand-new stock deliveries
  • Tagging and labelling garments
  • Inputting product information and codes into the computer system
  • Sorting and separating different clothing brands
  • Working to productivity targets and deadlines
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
This is a fast-paced role that involves manual handling and standing for extended periods.

To be successful in this Warehouse Operative position, you will ideally have:
  • Previous warehouse, distribution centre or retail experience, although this is not essential
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to work in a performance-driven environment
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to remain on your feet for long periods during shifts
