Warehouse Operative

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Warehouse Operative / Materials Handler to begin work for a well-established company in the Sittingbourne area.

About the role:

• Working Hours – Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:30
• Pay Rate – £14.00 per hour PAYE
• Material receiving, picking, packing, stock control and returns processing
• Loading and unloading materials using a 1.5-ton forklift
• Reach truck operation up to 6m is desirable
• Checking, cleaning, testing and re-stocking returned materials
• Maintaining accurate delivery notes, stock records and material tracking logs
• Carrying out daily safety and equipment checks
• Some basic painting and reconditioning of materials may be required
• Physically capable of lifting approximately 8kg over a long working day
• Start: Tuesday 4th August 2026
• End: Sunday 23rd August 2026

About You:

• High work ethic & team player
• Punctual & reliable
• Minimum 2 years' warehouse or logistics experience
• Valid Forklift Truck licence is essential
• Reach Truck licence is desirable
• Full and clean UK driving licence
• Manual handling and health & safety training
• Able to work independently, as the role will involve working alone around 70% of the time
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Previous experience with stock control, goods receiving and returns is preferred
• Painting certification/ticket is desirable
