Warehouse Operative in Sandwich, Kent

Job title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Sandwich (must drive due to location)

Salary: c. £38,000 per annum + overtime

Hours: 5x 10-hour shifts between Monday to Saturday, with start times varying between 7am - 9am

*Flexibility is required, as shifts may run late due to lorry loading and dispatch schedules.

Key responsibilities would be to:

• Loading and unloading deliveries of goods.
• Movement of stock between locations on site.
• Picking, preparing and organising customer orders ready for dispatch.
• Stacking, wrapping and labelling pallets.
• Loading vehicles and ensuring goods are secures for transportation.
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting with stock checks.

Experience and skills required:

• Previous warehousing experience within a fast-paced environment
• A current forklift licence would be desirable but not essential
• Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet throughout the day
• Flexibility to work later when required due to late deliveries/lorries
• Your own driving licence and transport due to location
