Position: Warehouse Operative - Nights

Location: Market Harborough, LE16
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Shift: Sunday to Friday, 22:00 - 07:00
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)



About the Role: We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives (Nights) to join our client based at their chilled warehouse in Market Harborough. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to secure a temporary-to-permanent position with a well-established business.

Working within a chilled warehouse environment, you will be responsible for loading and unloading packaged raw meat while ensuring all products are handled safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading packaged raw meat.
  • Working safely within a chilled warehouse environment.
  • Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Accurately handling stock and maintaining a clean working area.
  • Working efficiently as part of a team to meet operational targets.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Comfortable undertaking manual handling and physical work.
  • Able to work permanent night shifts.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
Health & Safety:
  • Candidates must wear their own safety boots.
  • Full-length white protective coveralls will be provided on site.
  • Food handling is required.
  • Due to the nature of the role, candidates must not have any skin conditions that could affect food safety.
  • The role involves handling pork products. Applicants should consider this before applying if it conflicts with their religious beliefs or personal preferences.
Shift Information:
  • Shift Pattern: 22:00 – 07:00
  • Working Days: Sunday to Friday
  • Overtime: Not available
  • Site Operating Hours: 24 hours
