Warehouse Operative Nights with a Counterbalance in Birmingham

Location: B8, Birmingham Salary: £30,000 per annum Shift: 12:00 midnight – 9:00am

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse operation in the B8 area of Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently, and helping maintain a smooth flow of stock throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move and position stock.
• Assisting with goods in, goods out and general warehouse duties.
• Moving, stacking and storing materials in designated areas.
• Checking stock and deliveries for accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.

Requirements

• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible approach to work.
