Warehouse Operative - No Heavy Lifting in Northampton

We are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives for our prestigious client based in Swan Valley, NN4 Northampton on a long term, ongoing basis (Not just until Christmas). This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading, global clothing brand at their Northampton distribution centre.

PAY:

• £12.71 per hour for hours worked between 07:00-18:00, with all 40 hours paid, including a 30-minute lunch break
• £14.62 per hour for hours worked between 18:00-22:00 (enhanced evening rate)
• £19.07 per hour overtime rate after 40 hours worked
• £25.42 per hour for overtime worked after 12:00pm on Saturdays and on Sundays, after 40 hours worked

HOURS:

You MUST be able to work all shifts within the rotating pattern.

• Week 1 - 07:00-15:00, Monday to Friday (no weekends)
• Week 2 - 07:00-15:00, Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off
• Week 3 - 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday (no weekends)

JOB DUTIES & PERSON SPEC:

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided
• Unloading boxes from conveyors onto courier vehicles or pallets
• Picking and packing clothing items accurately
• Sealing boxes and applying labels ready for dispatch
• Moving pallets using a pump truck
• Manual handling of boxes weighing up to 20kg and preparing orders for dispatch
• Entering load quantities and courier details onto spreadsheets using a PC
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment throughout each shift
• Demonstrating good attention to detail and accuracy
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Being flexible and multi-skilled across goods in/out, dispatch, VAS, returns and picking and packing departments
