Warehouse Operative

OA are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s established team in Enfield. This is a permanent late-shift opportunity for a reliable individual with previous warehouse experience.

Duties will include picking, packing, goods in/out, loading and unloading, and shunting vans around the yard when required.

Location: Enfield
Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm. 40 hours per week
Salary: £29,130 per annum

Warehouse Operative Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general warehouse duties across the site.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with goods in and goods out.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Shunt vans around the yard when required.
• Ensure goods are handled and stored correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of the wider warehouse team.
• Carry out any other general warehouse duties as required.

Warehouse Operative Skills and Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• A valid UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles to shunt vans around the yard.
• Forklift Licence – Counterbalance, Reach or Flexi preferred.
• Candidates with an expired forklift licence may be considered, as refresher/conversion training can be provided on-site.
• Reliable, committed and hardworking with a strong work ethic.
• Personable and approachable with a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
