Pay Rate: £14.05 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Our client is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their busy logistics team in Uttoxeter.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
- Safely loading and unloading deliveries
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
- Preparing orders for dispatch, including packing and labelling
- Inspecting deliveries for quality, quantity, and accuracy
- Maintaining accurate stock records using internal systems and spreadsheets
- Supporting stock transfers between sites
- Preparing courier shipments to meet delivery deadlines
- Assisting with the preparation of gas cylinders, including cleaning and painting
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Basic computer literacy, including email and stock management systems
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately
- Understanding of safe manual handling practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- FLT (Forklift Truck) licence desirable but not essential
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- Strong reliability and punctuality
