Warehouse Operative - Colchester, Essex

Are you looking for a full-time warehouse role with consistent weekday hours and weekly pay? We're recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy DIY and hardware distribution warehouse in Colchester, Essex.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for an ongoing temporary position with an established business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Picking and packing a wide range of DIY and hardware products accurately against work orders
• Preparing boxes of various sizes for warehouse operations
• Unloading incoming deliveries (this role involves some heavy lifting)
• Assisting with dispatch, including preparing pallets for outgoing deliveries
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe at all times

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supply chain experience
• Good attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow picking lists and work orders
• Strong communication and basic literacy skills
• A reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• A good level of physical fitness due to manual handling duties

Pay & Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am - 5:00pm
• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Holiday pay accrued
