Warehouse Operative - Ad Hoc / Temporary

Location: Outskirts of Chelmsford
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Work: Ad hoc / Temporary

Prime Appointments are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our removals client based on the outskirts of Chelmsford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, temporary and ad hoc work, with various weekday shifts available.

Due to the location of the site, you must be able to drive and have your own transport to be considered for this role.

Duties of the Warehouse Operative:

• Loading and unloading vehicles and deliveries
• Carrying out manual lifting and handling of items
• Assisting with the movement and storage of furniture and other goods
• Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean, tidy and organised

The Ideal Warehouse Operative:

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - due to location
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Available at short notice and able to commit to ad hoc weekday shifts
• Previous warehouse, removals or manual handling experience is beneficial but not essential

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday - various days available
• 8:00am - 5:00pm, although start and finish times may vary
• £12.71 per hour
• Temporary, ad hoc work
• Immediate starts available
