Warehouse Operative in Braintree

A client of ours in the Braintree, Essex area is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join their team.
This is a full-time temporary-to-permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:15pm, with an early finish on Fridays, paying £13.00 per hour.

Your key duties in this Warehouse Operative role will include but are not limited to:

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries for damage or discrepancies
• Labelling, storing and organising stock correctly
• Supplying materials to production areas and preparing orders for dispatch
• Checking products and quantities before dispatch
• Completing relevant paperwork, maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with stocktakes
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe while following health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

• Previous warehouse, goods in, goods out or logistics experience
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience with manual handling
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems would be advantageous
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am – 4:15pm, with an early finish on Fridays
