We're recruiting for a Warehouse Operative  to join a global business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who takes pride in accuracy, organisation and working as part of a close-knit team.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are received, checked and stored accurately, helping to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries from suppliers.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Inspect goods for damage, shortages or quality issues.
• Accurately record stock using the warehouse management system.
• Label, organise and store products in the correct warehouse locations.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and forklifts (training available where required).
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Liaise with drivers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient goods movement.
• Follow company procedures relating to quality, health & safety and warehouse operations.

Experience & Skills

Essential

• Previous experience within a warehouse, stores or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of stock control and goods receiving processes.
• Basic IT skills.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Desirable

• Forklift Truck licence (training can be provided).
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System.
