Warehouse Operative / FLT Operative

Salary: £13.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on warehouse role suited to someone who has previous warehouse experience and ideally holds an FLT Reach Licence. However, if you don't currently hold a licence but have the right attitude and relevant experience, we are happy to put the right candidate through their Reach FLT training.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Booking stock in and out of the warehouse
• Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records
• Using computer systems to record and manage stock movements
• Loading, unloading and moving stock safely around the warehouse
• Operating an FLT Reach truck (training can be provided for the right candidate)
• Picking and preparing stock when required
• Keeping the warehouse organised, clean and tidy
• Carrying out general warehouse duties as needed
• Undertaking some manual and physical work, including occasionally using a shovel

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Ideally experienced in a warehouse environment
• FLT experienced, preferably with a Reach licence, although training can be provided
• Computer literate and confident using basic warehouse/stock systems
• Experienced with stock control and booking goods in and out
• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
• Safety-conscious and willing to get stuck in when required
• Organised, with good attention to detail
