Warehouse Operative

Wild Recruitment are seeking Warehouse Operatives to work night shifts for busy distribution centres based in Eastleigh.

Monday to Thursday 18:00 start, Friday 16:00 start

This shift operates on a job & finish basis, meaning finish times will vary depending on order volumes and customer demand

This role is a temporary but ongoing with the potential to become permanent

What you will be doing for this Warehouse Operative role

• Accurately receive, check and put-away all deliveries into the warehouse
• Ensuring you inform the next line manager of any variances relating to delivery paperwork.
• Accurately picking and packing orders ensuring that all stock is complete and undamaged
• Assist in the correct rotation of stock.
• Ensuring that all picking locations are accurately replenished to satisfy customer orders
• Make sure you maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and yard, adopting a clean as you go approach.

What we need from you for this Warehouse Operative role

• Good knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment, including Red Prairie where appropriate.
• Previous experience with low lever order picking
• The ability to undertake heavy lifting
• Comply with all health & safety requirements including use of PPE at all times

Please note that transport links to the depot are limited, so it is essential to confirm that you have suitable travel arrangements in place
