Location: Warrington, WA5
Pay: £13.77/hr
Fixed Shift: 6am-2pm
Days: Monday-Friday

Job Description

Russell Taylor Group are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver on behalf of a busy client based in Warrington.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence to join a well-established business. The role will involve a mixture of forklift driving and general warehouse duties, therefore applicants must be willing to support all areas of the operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Moving stock throughout the warehouse
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Receiving and booking in deliveries
  • Stock control and inventory checks
  • General warehouse duties and housekeeping
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Candidate Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
  • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • Warehouse experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices
