This role involves working 5 days out of 7, including weekends where required. Candidates must be flexible and reliable.
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associates to join a busy logistics team in Smethwick, Birmingham.
This is a hands-on warehouse role involving parcel handling, sorting and loading activities within a fast-paced logistics environment, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 successful weeks.
What will you be doing?
- Unloading trailers and handling incoming parcels
- Sorting parcels accurately for delivery routes
- Loading and moving parcels within the warehouse
- Supporting the smooth running of daily warehouse operations
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Following warehouse procedures and health and safety guidelines
- Previous warehouse or parcel-handling experience is desirable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift and handle parcels and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
- Flexible and willing to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
