Warehouse Operator with FLT experience

Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator with FLT experience to join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly!

Rate of Pay: £13.08ph

Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday: 07:00-15:00pm

Contract: Temp to perm after 12 weeks

Purpose: To guarantee raw materials and parent reels unloading, storage and handling in compliance with work instructions and safety guideline

Main Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork
• Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork
• Run quality check of all incoming goods
• Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct storage bay
• Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed
• Operate FLT / 8-tonne Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectation
• Transport required reels and raw materials from warehouse to production workstation
• Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults
• Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions
• Carry out periodic stocktaking activities
• Guarantee the warehouse space optimization
• Transport parent reels from paper mill production area to warehouse if required

• Skills required:
• RTITB FLT (Counterbalance) is desirable but in house is accepted
• Experience in warehouse environment
• Good communication skills
• Works well in a team and individually
