Warehouse Picker

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Picker to join our busy warehouse team.

This is an important role within the business, helping to ensure our customers receive the right products, in excellent condition and on time. If you enjoy practical work, like being part of a team and take pride in doing a good job, we would like to hear from you.

The Role

You will be responsible for picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately while helping to keep the warehouse organised, safe and running efficiently.

Your Responsibilities

Picking and Packing

• Pick customer orders accurately.
• Pack goods securely and prepare them for dispatch.
• Check orders carefully before they leave the warehouse.
• Meet daily picking and dispatch targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Goods In and Stock Control

• Check deliveries against delivery notes.
• Put stock away in the correct locations.
• Report damaged goods or stock shortages.
• Help keep stock records accurate.

Warehouse Duties

• Support the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues.
• Suggest improvements to help the warehouse run more efficiently.

Health and Safety

• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Carry out manual handling safely.
• Report any hazards, accidents or near misses.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for everyone.

About You

You will be:

• Reliable and punctual.
• Hardworking with a positive attitude.
• Accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work well on your own and as part of a team.
• Organised and willing to learn.
• Flexible and happy to support colleagues when needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse, picking or packing role would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person.
