Warehouse Storeman / Driver

Salary: £26.5k - £27.5k per annum

Start: ASAP

Location: Braintree

Details;

• Driving a Luton van with tail lift to deliver and collect materials and equipment from company sites
• Managing the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including stock control and organisation
• Loading, unloading, and moving goods in and out of the warehouse
• Supporting site operations through deliveries, collections, and waste removal
• Collecting waste materials from sites and transporting them to approved waste facilities
• Carrying out basic maintenance and housekeeping duties within the warehouse, yard, and surrounding grounds
• Undertaking PAT testing of equipment (full training provided)
• Working across sites predominantly in London, with occasional travel further afield when required
• Handling physically demanding tasks, including manual lifting and moving materials
• Adapting to changing site requirements, priorities, and occasional last-minute schedule changes
• Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with flexibility required for earlier starts and changing project demands

Requirements;

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Experience driving a Luton van or similar-sized vehicle with tail lift is essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to undertake physically demanding manual handling duties
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage stock effectively
• Flexible approach to working hours and changing priorities
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
• Good communication skills

Desirable (not essential);

• Knowledge of plumbing products and/or air conditioning equipment
• Previous stock control or warehouse management experience
• PAT testing experience (training will be provided)
