Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: South Peterborough
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)

We at Interaction Recruitment are partnering with a small, dynamic organisation in Peterborough seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader to lead and support their warehouse operations. This is a unique opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in a quality-driven environment and is keen to play a pivotal role in shaping both the team and daily processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Must hold a current ITTSAR or RTITB Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
  • Proven ability to supervise warehouse teams and manage operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, quality assurance, dispatch coordination, space utilisation, and on-floor productivity.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service by meeting contractual delivery and service level targets.
  • Use Microsoft Office and internal systems to manage inbound receipts, returns, and outbound dispatches accurately.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and security protocols across the warehouse and stock holdings.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small warehouse team – promoting motivation, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Be actively involved in hands-on tasks, including use of hand tools, technical equipment, and specialist machinery, as well as carrying out basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Engage in heavy manual handling as part of daily duties.
  • Work closely with the sales team, external customers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless delivery and service.
