Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor – Construction Project

Munnelly Support Services is recruiting an experienced Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor to work on a long-term construction project based in Redcar.

The successful candidate will oversee the internal warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring that materials, deliveries, stock movements and warehouse activities are managed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations within the project warehouse.
• Coordinate incoming deliveries, unloading and the movement of materials.
• Manage and allocate daily duties to warehouse and logistics operatives.
• Ensure materials are stored safely, securely and in the correct locations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, stock and material movements.
• Liaise with site management, logistics teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and compliant with site procedures.
• Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks when required.
• Report shortages, damaged materials and operational issues to management.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Valid SSSTS qualification.
• Previous warehouse, logistics or materials management experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience working on a construction project or within a construction logistics environment.
• Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of construction site health and safety procedures.
• Ability to start at short notice.
