Warehouse Supervisor

Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Stanford-le-Hope.

What You’ll Do:

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be required to perform the following as well as support the shift manager.

• Lead & motivate a team of around 7 warehouse operatives to hit targets with both accuracy and speed.
• Oversee all warehouse activities, from receiving & storage to picking, packing & dispatch.
• Keep inventory flawless with WMS & deliver regular performance reports.
• Champion health & safety and compliance to keep the workplace secure.
• Spot opportunities, solve problems, and make processes smoother & smarter.
• Drive team training, briefings, and performance reviews to boost skills & morale.

What We’re Looking For:

• A warehouse professional with at least 1-2 years’ experience in either a supervisory
  or team leader role.
• Strong leader with excellent communication & team motivation skills.
• WMS knowledge with forklift certification and safe equipment operation.
• Detail-orientated multitasker who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
• Flexible, resilient, and safety-first with the ability to work rotating shifts & possibly overtime.
• A problem solver and proactive doer with a can-do attitude.
