Warehouse Team Leader - Nights

Our client is launching a night shift operation in Rugby and so are looking for a Team Leader to support this shift.
Hours of work will be 10pm to 6am Monday to Friday.
This is a fixed term opportunity as the night shift will be in operation until the end of the year. (Week 52)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operational processes, ensuring they run efficiently and in line with the company standards and values.
- Maintain strong communication across the operation to support clarity, alignment and smooth workflow.
- Support continuous development of operational practices through coaching, guidance and process‑based feedback.
- Conduct regular process reviews to assess performance, identify improvements and support operational excellence.
- Deliver clear and effective shift briefs that keep colleagues informed of priorities, changes and key information.
- Organise workflow and allocate tasks to ensure service levels and operational targets are met.
- Complete all process‑related administrative activities in line with company policy, including accurate reporting and compliance checks.
- Keep the customer at the centre of operational decisions, ensuring service quality is consistently maintained.
- Drive operational KPI performance by monitoring process efficiency and understanding cost and service impacts.
- Use operational data, trends and forecasts to support short‑ and long‑term planning.
- Take responsibility for Quality Control across dispatch and sortation processes.
- Maintain stock accuracy and product security by ensuring strict adherence to agreed procedures and systems.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure aligned processes and strong site performance.
- Keep Health & Safety at the forefront, conducting regular checks and maintaining safe working practices.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance customer outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to currently be in a leadership position or have previous leadership experience.
Additionally you will have:
- Experience leading and improving operational processes.
- Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Holds, is working towards, or is willing to study for a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
- Experienced in driving performance within a process‑driven, results‑focused environment.
- Demonstrates a process‑first approach, maintaining high standards and consistency.
- Agile and adaptable, with a strong ability to support operational change and new initiatives.
- Communicates clearly and confidently with colleagues, peers, managers and stakeholders.
