Warehouse Team leader - Evening replenishment

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team leader or senior warehouse operative looking for progression with a valid forklift licence to join a well-established team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an amazing opportunity to work for a national retail organisation at their fast-paced distribution centre.

As a Team leader you will be responsible for:

  • Supervise and coordinate evening replenishment activities across the warehouse.
  • Ensure stock is replenished accurately and efficiently to designated pick locations.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment priorities to support operational demands.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve performance targets.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor productivity and quality standards, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Liaise with other warehouse departments to ensure smooth workflow and operational continuity.
  • Assist with training, coaching, and development of team members.
  • Support inventory accuracy through effective stock handling and reporting of discrepancies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation.

Core skills / experience required for this role:

  • Good operational DC inbound and outbound experience to effectively lead a team
  • Good understanding of warehouse management system
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to encourage collaboration and staff development by empowering others
  • Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth
  • Inclusive & empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity
  • 2-3 years' FLT driving experience (counterbalance and reach)
  • Strong IT skills, especially Excel

Working hours are based on a 40hr week Mon – Fri 11:00 – 20:00 occasional weekends may be required at peak times
