About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy, fast paced warehouse operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in stock control and warehouse management who enjoys leading teams, improving processes and ensuring stock accuracy across a large operation.
You'll take ownership of stock integrity throughout the warehouse, managing a team, analysing stock data, investigating discrepancies and ensuring inventory accuracy. Working closely with other departments, you'll play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a stock integrity team within a busy warehouse.
- Monitor stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Carry out stock checks, audits and inventory reconciliation.
- Analyse stock data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Manage stock movements and ensure warehouse systems remain accurate.
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Excel to produce reports and analyse performance.
- Support performance management and coach team members to achieve high standards.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse departments to maintain efficient operations.
- Identify and resolve stock-related issues using a proactive approach.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, analytical and enjoys solving problems in a fast-moving environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in Stock Integrity or Stock Control within a warehouse.
- Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and investigate data.
- Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong Excel and general computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
- A proactive and hands-on approach.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
Working Hours
- 38.75 hours per week
- Working any 5 days from 7
- Typical shifts:
- 7:45am – 4:00pm
- 8:15am – 4:30pm
- Flexibility required during peak trading periods.
