Job Summary

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for supervising daily warehouse operations and leading a team to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role focuses on maintaining productivity, accuracy, safety, and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff to achieve operational targets and performance standards.
  • Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance to ensure productivity goals are met.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and cycle counts.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct team briefings and provide training and coaching to warehouse employees.
  • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and employee performance, addressing issues as required.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, transport, and customer service to ensure smooth operations.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and customer concerns where applicable.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is used correctly and report maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate warehouse records.

Required Experience:

· Experience in a warehouse environment / Supply Chain, liaising with suppliers and logistic companies.

. Able to use and have a good knowledge of ERP/SAP systems and confident in using IT

· Team leading , team management experience required.

· Forklift driving experience is required.

· FLT license Counterbalance a must have.
