6:00am - 4:00pm - Tuesday to Friday

£13.00 per hour

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Waste Collection Operatives to join the Waste Collections team, helping deliver essential waste, recycling and garden waste services across the Bradford.

Key Duties

• Collect household, commercial and recycling waste safely and efficiently.
• Work as part of a team on daily collection rounds.
• Assist the driver with safe vehicle manoeuvring and reversing.
• Handle a variety of waste containers, including wheeled bins, commercial bins and sacks.
• Report any operational issues or delays to your supervisor.
• Complete timesheets and other required paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service when dealing with members of the public and local businesses.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Help keep vehicles, bins and depot areas clean and tidy.
• Support colleagues and cover different collection routes when required.

What We're Looking For

• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Committed to health and safety.
• Previous experience in waste collection, recycling, labouring or a similar outdoor role is beneficial but not essential.
