Waste Operative

We are currently recruiting Waste Operatives to join our client based in Swinton,  M27 area.

This is a hands-on role within a busy waste processing facility, ideal for candidates with a manufacturing background.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting waste materials on a production line.
• Operating and working alongside waste processing machinery.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting the team to ensure production targets are met.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Waste industry experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A good attitude and strong work ethic are essential.

Shift Options

Days

• 7:00am – 7:00pm
• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
• £12.71/hour

Nights

• 7:00pm – 7:00am
• Monday to Thursday
• £13.00/hour

Breaks

• 30-minute unpaid break deducted per shift.
• Two paid 15-minute breaks included.

PPE

• Safety boots and a high-visibility vest are required.
