Water Compliance Supervisor

Location: Southern England (Mobile /Hybrid Role)
We are seeking an experienced Qualified Water Compliance Supervisor to act as a technical expert supporting water hygiene and compliance activities across a government contract.
This is a mobile and hybrid role, combining home working with travel to client sites as required.
We are looking for a water compliance professional with extensive operational experience who can provide specialist technical guidance, review risk assessments, investigate water quality issues, and support operational teams in maintaining high standards of compliance and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and compliance across all sites.
- Review and quality check Water Compliance Risk Assessments, including schematic drawings.
- Review water sampling results and provide technical advice, corrective actions and remediation recommendations.
- Support investigations into water compliance incidents, system failures and adverse sampling results.
- Conduct site visits and system reviews following control scheme failures or compliance concerns.
- Produce detailed technical reports relating to inspections, investigations and compliance activities.
- Work closely with Account Managers to ensure appropriate resources are available to deliver compliance services.
- Support technical KPI achievement and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience within water hygiene and water compliance environments.
- Minimum 5 years' experience and certification in cooling tower risk assessments and water treatment.
- Minimum 5 years' experience and certification in assessing microbiological risks in domestic and commercial water systems.
- Experience interpreting microbiological water sample results, including potable and closed systems.
- Experience interpreting non-microbiological sample results, including BSRIA closed system testing.
- Strong understanding of water hygiene legislation and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of mechanical and pressure systems.
- Strong IT skills and competency across standard software packages.
- Experience working in critical environments is desirable.
Qualifications
- Full professional membership of a recognised industry body such as WMS, CIPHE, IHEEM or similar.
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing qualification.
- Demonstrable water hygiene experience.
