Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £36k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued company growth, our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their outfit. You will be travelling across the Home Counties region, working across a range of client premises, conducting PPM ACOP L8 management tasks. Our client has a national presence, so travel further afield may be required on occasion. They can also offer good progression within the company as their portfolio increases. The ideal candidate will ideally have a robust skillset and will be able to adapt to client needs. Salaries are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle, fuel card and overtime.

Experience / Qualifications:

-           Track record as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a successful outfit

-           Hardworking attitude

-           Fully conversant in HSG 274 and ACOP L8 compliance guidelines

-           Flexible to travel in line with company needs

-           Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

-           Confident using a PDA and technical software

The Role:

-           Showerhead and outlet descales

-           Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks

-           TMV servicing and failsafe checks

-           Flushing on little used outlets

-           Calorifier inspections

-           Water sampling

-           Temperature monitoring

-           Updating logbooks

-           Working to agreed deadlines and targets
