Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Derby, East Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £35k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting in the Midlands region for a hardworking and self-sufficient Water Hygiene Engineer. You will be joining a growing and privately owned Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit, who has a national presence. Due to recently winning new commercial and local authority contracts across the region, they are seeking someone who will integrate smoothly into their existing team. We are seeking someone who is able to work both independently and within teams, ensuring to meet contractual deadlines and project scopes. You will be travelling across: Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough, Swadlincote, Leicester, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Tamworth, Lichfield, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Coventry, Burntwood, Walsall, Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Redditch, Royal Leamington Spa, Stafford, Rugeley, Cannock.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Will have worked within a well-established outfit
• Good understanding of technical guidelines (ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines)
• Able to travel in line with company needs
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Professional manner

The Role:

• Performing pre-planned duties in order to ensure saftey and compliance
• Showerhead disinfections
• Basic outlet flushing
• TMV maintenance and servicing
• Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
• Water sampling
• Temperature monitoring
• Producing regular service reports
