Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £35k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a privately-owned Water Hygiene / Water Treatment specialist, with a stronghold in the Yorkshire region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a range of commercial and domestic sites across the region. Our client provides a variety of services to clients (including plumbing and equipment support) so there are excellent opportunities to train within the industry. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: overtime opportunities, vehicle, fuel card, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Ideally will hold industry courses / qualifications (i.e. Legionella Awareness, TMV servicing)
• Flexible to travel with changing company needs
• Good literacy and numeracy skill level
• IT literate

The Role:

• Showerhead descales
• TMV servicing and maintenance
• Acid descales
• Flushing on little used outlets
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks
• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Keeping a record of works undertaken
• Adhering to set deadlines
