Water Hygiene Remedials Engineer

Location: London

Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE plus company van, fuel card, phone, tablet, uniform, PPE, pension and 22 days holiday excluding statutory days

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Remedials Engineer to join an established and growing business within the water hygiene and legionella sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber with experience in water hygiene remedial works who is looking to develop their career within a specialist water compliance business.

The successful candidate will carry out a variety of plumbing and remedial works on domestic and commercial water systems, helping clients maintain safe, compliant and efficient water systems.

The Role

  • Dead leg removals and system modifications
  • Pipework alterations, upgrades and replacements
  • Cold Water Storage Tank (CWST) remedial works
  • Expansion vessel installations, servicing and replacements
  • TMV/TMT replacements and associated plumbing works
  • Tank cleaning, chlorination and disinfection services
  • General water hygiene PPM tasks
  • Fault finding, diagnostics and problem solving on live water systems
  • Producing accurate site documentation, photographs and supporting evidence

About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Plumber / Remedials Engineer with previous experience working within commercial or domestic water systems.

You must hold either:

NVQ Level 2 Plumbing, or

City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing

G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification is highly desirable.

You will also need:

Full UK driving licence

Able to pass enhanced DBS
