Web Developer

We’re working with a fast-growing and ambitious business in Plymouth that’s looking to add a Web Developer with Shopify experience to their expanding in-house team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer who wants to be part of a collaborative environment, working on a variety of ecommerce and web projects with real impact.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a close-knit team where your work will directly contribute to the development and optimisation of Shopify stores and web platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and creative development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customise Shopify themes using Liquid
• Build and maintain responsive, high-performing websites
• Work across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement new features and improvements across ecommerce platforms
• Troubleshoot issues and optimise site performance
• Collaborate with internal teams including design and marketing

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience working with Shopify (themes, customisation, apps)
• Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Understanding of responsive design and UX best practices
• Experience with Git/version control
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A team player with good communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify CLI or custom app development
• Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations
• Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue)
