Coded Welders:
 
AJP Recruitment are currently recruiting multiple time served Fluxcore Coded Welders for a minimum 3 month contract.
 
Shifts:
48 Hours per week
7:00am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday
 
Pay Rates (PAYE + holiday accrual):
Basic: £19.11
Overtime 1: £28.67
Overtime 2: £38.22
 
Requirements
  • BS EN ISO 9606 qualification (Carbon steel, FM1/FM2, Gas M26) other including ASME will be considered
  • In date coding certificates for FCAW (136) coverage - full positional butt and fillet welds except vertical down
 
 
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality welding on critical projects
  • Ensure compliance with weld inspection standards
  • Maintain validated welding equipment and consumables
  • Support training for apprentices and new team members
  • Skilled in reading engineering drawings and maintaining trade competency, interpret fabrication drawings and weld procedures
