Ambitek is currently recruiting for experienced Skilled Structural MIG Welders to join our client’s busy fabrication team in Winsford. This is a long-term opportunity offering excellent rates and consistent work for reliable and qualified welders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding of structural steel beams and end-plates.

  • Use of solid wire MIG in the down-hand position.

  • Perform 10mm T-joint multi-run fillet welds, including start/stop operations.

  • Work to engineering drawings and welding specifications.

  • Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in structural MIG welding (preferably in a fabrication shop).

  • Ability to complete a 10mm multi-run T-joint fillet weld to a high standard.

  • Must pass a trade test prior to starting.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Local candidates only – accommodation is not provided.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45

  • Friday: 07:45 – 12:45

  • Overtime available after 39 hours at enhanced rate.
