Responsibilities

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
• Fabricate and weld bespoke components for a range of engineering projects.
• Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
• Work with sheet metal, mild steel, and stainless steel.
• Manufacture components for heavy engineering and food manufacturing equipment, including conveyor systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a workshop-based welding and fabrication role.
• Proven experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Skilled in both MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
