Welder/Fabricator

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator with experience working on steel staircases, external staircases, and access ramps. You'll be involved in the fabrication and welding of high-quality steelwork for a range of projects.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and MIG weld structural steel components.
• Manufacture steel staircases, external staircases, and access ramps to specification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and weld steel components accurately.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets company standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

• Proven MIG welding experience.
• Previous experience fabricating steel staircases.
• Experience working on external staircases and steel access ramps.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
