CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for Welder/Fabricator for one of our clients based in Bradford, BD3.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, bend, and prepare metal materials.
- Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, or stick welding as required.
- Assemble and fabricate metal structures and components.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, drills, saws, and cutting machines.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated products for quality and accuracy.
- Repair or modify damaged metal components when necessary.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Skills:
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or ARC welding.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good measuring and mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques and metalworking tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Shifts:
Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4:30pm
Friday: 8am - 3:30pm
Pay rate : £16.00 - £17.00 / H
