Welder Fabricator

CDM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder on behalf of our client for an immediate start. This role is initially being offered on a temporary basis, with the potential for the assignment to be extended depending on business requirements.

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of workshop-based fabrication and maintenance projects, producing high-quality fabricated components and structures to customer specifications.

Key Duties:

• General fabrication and welding duties.
• MIG welding of mild steel components.
• Occasional TIG welding work as required.
• Fabrication of manifolds, pipework assemblies and bespoke fabrications.
• Manufacture and repair of handrails, stillages and general workshop equipment.
• Maintenance fabrication and modification work.
• Working from engineering drawings and fabrication sketches.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fabrication and welding role.
• Competent MIG welder with the ability to fabricate from drawings.
• TIG welding experience beneficial.
• Experience manufacturing structural and bespoke fabricated products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
