Our client based in Andover is looking for a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our growing team in Andover. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication and welding of metal components to a high standard, working from technical drawings and specifications.

Welder Fabricator Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carry out general fabrication and metalwork
• MIG and TIG welding on a range of materials
• Complete sheet metalwork, cutting, forming and preparation
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Use a range of hand and power tools
• Carry out basic machining work where required
• Assist with the manufacture and assembly of components
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail
• Work safely and efficiently within the workshop
• Use CAD software for basic design or drawing work, where required

Welder Fabricator Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a fabrication or welding environment
• Confident with both MIG and TIG welding
• Good knowledge of sheet metalwork
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Machining experience would be an advantage
• CAD experience would be highly desirable

Welder Fabricator Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday, 08:00 – 13:00
