We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and specialist automotive business located in Worcestershire, seeking to appoint an experienced Welder / Fabricator. The Welder / Fabricator role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to work on a limited series of bespoke sports cars within a purpose-built, temperature-controlled workshop environment.

Duties:
  • MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminium components
  • Fabrication of tanks, chassis, and automotive components
  • Manufacturing to precise jig specifications
  • Producing high-quality bespoke vehicle parts for low-volume production
  • Ensuring craftsmanship standards are maintained throughout all fabrication work
  • Contributing to the assembly and finishing of hand-built sports cars
  • Adhering to safety, quality, and process standards in a specialised environment
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Welder / Fabricator
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Experience working with steel and aluminium materials
  • Capable of fabricating automotive chassis and components
  • Ability to produce components accurately following jig specifications
  • Experience in low-volume vehicle manufacturing is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
