Welder Fabricator

We are currently recruiting for MIG/TIG Welders to join an established engineering and manufacturing business.

This is a great opportunity for both entry-level welders looking to develop their skills and experienced welders looking for a long-term position within a well-established company.

The Role

As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating components to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets the required quality standards.

Your duties will include:

• MIG and/or TIG welding of components

• Fabrication and assembly of metalwork

• Working from engineering drawings

• Tack welding and preparation of components

• Checking finished work to ensure it meets quality requirements

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Working both independently and as part of a team

About You

We are interested in hearing from candidates with a background in MIG or TIG welding and fabrication.

Entry-level candidates with basic welding experience will also be considered, with training and development available for the right person.

Ideally, you will have:

• MIG welding experience

• TIG welding experience is advantageous

• Previous fabrication/manufacturing experience

• Ability to read engineering drawings

• Good attention to detail

• Reliable and hardworking approach

• Ability to work as part of a team

Salary & Benefits

• Tier 1 – Entry Level: £15.15 per hour

• Tier 2 – Experienced: £16.98 per hour
