Welder Fabricator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for long-term, stable employment within a professional production environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components in line with engineering drawings and specifications. You will prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding and cleaning, and ensure all finished welds meet the required quality and structural standards. Working closely with the fabrication team, you will help ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

You will be expected to operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, maintain a clean and organised work area, and follow all company health and safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment.

To be considered for this role, you should have previous MIG welding experience within a fabrication or manufacturing environment. You will be confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings and have excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Experience with additional welding processes would be beneficial but is not essential. You should be able to work independently when required while also contributing effectively as part of a team. A good understanding of health and safety practices within an industrial environment and the physical ability to undertake manual work are essential.
