Welder

Lodestone Recruitment is currently working in partnership with an established engineering company in Oldham, who are currently looking for Welders on a permanent basis.

The business has been fortunate to experience a busy order book and is now expanding due to further increase in orders.

To be considered for these roles you will ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

-Apprentice trained or time served Welder.

-Predominant experience in MIG/MAG welding on predominantly Mild or Carbon Steel, any candidate with MIG & TIG welding will get enhanced pay.

-Experience in butt welds and multi-runs

-Prior experience working on heavy engineering projects or big fabricated parts for the Oil & Gas, Nuclear or Defence sectors to coded standard would be ideal.

In return, our client offers the following:

Salary: £39,000 - £44,600 + overtime paid at x1.5 + company benefits.

Shifts: Regular days

Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hr per week)

Overtime: Regularly available

Duration: Permanent

Pension - 10% contribution from employer / 5% from employee
