Welder (Nights)

We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join our production team, specialising in the fabrication of excavator buckets and heavy-duty attachments. You’ll be working with mild steel, carrying out multi-run MIG welds, and producing robust, high-quality components built to withstand tough environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG welding (multi-run) on mild steel plate and structural components

• Reading and working from engineering drawings

• Operating workshop machinery, tools, and equipment safely

• Ensuring all welds meet quality and safety standards

• Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven MIG welding experience (preferably in heavy fabrication)

• Strong ability to carry out multi-pass runs on mild steel

• Competent in reading fabrication/engineering drawings

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Shifts and Pay Rates

Shifts are Monday to Thursday nightshifs starting at 9pm. Paid for 10 hours daily. Overtime available before/after shifts. 

• Basic 40 hours = £15.22 (£17.22 with Night Allowance)
• 41-45 hours = £19.52
• 45+ = £21.96
• £20 nights allowance per shift.
